Mulch provides a great finished look as a ground cover. It also serves some very useful purposes when it comes to helping soil retain moisture and suppressing weed growth. We have mulch in a variety of colors and textures.

Our bark mulch is made exclusively from bark. It helps with weed control but won’t attract termites. It’s made without additives, so it won’t rob your plants of nitrogen. We have it in different textures, including:

• Premium hardwood bark mulch in black, cocoa, and natural
• Ultra-fine bark mulch in black and natural

Our classic mulch is an economical choice for a sturdy ground cover. It’s made of all-wood products, but includes no chipped pallets. We use only safe, Colorbiotics colorants to dye our mulch. You may choose from:

• Brick red
• Cherry brown
• Jet black
• Ocean blue
• Walnut brown

Forest Commodities carries fine and coarse aggregate stone, including a wide variety of limestone and sand products. We carry aggregates for making other materials, such as concrete or asphalt. We also have aggregate for construction stability, and proper drainage.

TenderTurf® is the definitive product in playground surfacing around the country – and we manufacture it right here in central Indiana. We make it using fresh, all-natural woodchips, ground to precise measurements. The consistency of fiber and wood fines create a product that absorbs maximum energy. It is both ASTM approved and ADA compliant. It doesn’t splinter and is wheelchair accessible.

We sell premium top soil blended with a nutrient-rich compost to create raised landscaping bed. We also manufacture our own heavily-fertilized compost to enrich soil in vegetable or flower gardens.
